Evelyn L. Williamson is a native of Springfield Illinois with a background of over twenty years of Human Resource and development training experience with both private and public sectors. Evelyn currently lives and works in Pennsylvania. Evelyn is a professional grassroots political organizer, and community development consultant.

 

Evelyn is also a national bestselling author, and mother of adult twins. She served as a legislative liaison on numerous community projects for The Democratic National Committee. As an employment consultant with the Georgia Department of Labor, Ms. Williamson successfully consulted clients on career, labor market information and change trends. Evelyn has designed, developed, and facilitated specialized workshops focused on staffing, staff retention, management skills, employment coaching, and team building, while providing assessments, diagnosis, and recommendations for clients to achieve excellent internal and external customer service. Ms. Williamson also has enjoyed numerous opportunities to do motivational speeches, and be on the speaking circuit.

 

In 1999 she founded E.L. Williamson & Associates Inc. in Atlanta Georgia. E.L. Williamson & Associates classified as an independent, sole owned, and operated for profit (Minority Business Enterprise MBE, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise DBE, Women Owned Business WOB), that specialized in Organizational Development. In 1999 she was named Outstanding Georgia Citizen, and awarded Outstanding Public Service award by the Georgia Secretary of State. As a 2007 graduate of The Greater Atlanta Economic Alliance Academy, E.L. Williamson & Associates completed over 400 hours of construction, project, and development management. Evelyn is certified staff development , and group facilitator, with political lobbying experience. Evelyn’s vast political campaign experience includes the now historical 2008 Presidential election for Senator Barack Obama, and the 2012 national presidential re-election.

 

Evelyn’s extensive executive campaign experience include; congressional, senate, county, and municipal. In 2008, Evelyn served as a community field director for the Obama Campaign for Change  Georgia and  surrounding Philadelphia where she successfully organized, recruited, and trained  volunteers and a support  staff. Evelyn also led the  Women for Obama Project for the Obama Campaign in  Georgia, Nevada and Philadelphia which formed collaborative  empowering women and girls to be politically active and educated in their communities, foster change, . Evelyn served as senior staff Field Organizer for Pennsylvania Democratic Party VOTE 2010 campaign, and managed facilitate the 2010 mid-term political agenda.

 

In 2011 she served as Intergovernmental affairs liaison to the Liberian Consulate General for the southeastern U.S. region, and received congressional recognition from congressman John Lewis of Georgia for service to her community. In 2012, sh served as a staff community field director with Organizing for America-Nevada. Evelyn continues to be an active member of numerous local, state, national, and international organizations. As part of her many opportunities to be a change agent, she commits countless hours of volunteering, active member on public service boards in her community, as well as supporting cultural arts around the nation and the globe.
